Stan Lee has inspired me since watching the Spider-Man cartoons on Saturday morning TV in my early teens.
Apart from the co‑creation of Spider‑Man, his collaboration with others at Marvel – especially Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko – he was part of the creation of a multi-million dollar Marvel Universe, that includes Black Panther (my second favourite film of all time), Thor, the Hulk, Dr Strange, Daredevil, Black Widow… and the Avengers themselves.
That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real superhero.
Stan Lee
Following Avengers: Infinity War (yep… my favourite film of all time – I sat open mouthed and left the cinema dazed!), the release of Avengers: Endgame broke box office records, to become the fastest film to break the $1 billion dollar mark.
I heard of his death on the way to a workshop, so I opened the day with a tribute to an incredible man.
Simply, Thanks Stan!
